The Events Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating high-impact events that advance United Way of Northern Utah's mission, strengthen community relationships, and support fundraising, volunteer engagement, and community awareness efforts. This role leads the coordination of UWNU's signature events, including fundraising events, volunteer initiatives, recognition programs, and program-related events. The position manages a diverse portfolio of approximately 12-24 events annually of varying sizes and complexity. The Events Manager is responsible for all phases of event planning—from concept development and budgeting to onsite execution and post-event evaluation—while ensuring exceptional experiences for donors, volunteers, sponsors, community partners, and attendees.

The Program Coordinator for the AmeriCorps Student Success Program is responsible for expanding and strengthening UWNU’s partnership with local schools and community organizations to ensure students and families receive the support they need to succeed. This role works closely with a wide range of stakeholders (including AmeriCorps members, school staff, district leaders, families, and community partners) to grow the program’s reach and impact. By fostering collaboration and building strong relationships, the Program Coordinator helps improve student outcomes and advance UWNU’s broader goals of educational success and long-term community change.

The Early Literacy Fellow positions support several parts of the United Way of Northern Utah (UWNU) DYAD reading intervention tutoring program. The purpose of the program is to help elementary students develop foundational reading skills through a structured, research-based paired reading program. The fellows will play an important role in recruiting and retaining volunteers to provide tutoring to students with the goal of strengthening early literacy skills and moving closer to grade-level reading benchmarks. By supporting the development of supportive relationships and encouraging daily reading practice, fellows contribute to improved student confidence, academic success, and long-term educational outcomes.

The AmeriCorps Student Success Program is seeking AmeriCorps PAID Volunteer to provide one-on-one support for students at their assigned schools throughout Utah. AmeriCorps PAID Volunteers help students feel more excited about school and learning, gain confidence, and improve school performance. AmeriCorps PAID Volunteers receive excellent training and support as they gain marketable skills and experience and prepare for a lifetime of meaningful contributions.
